Founders and Partners Damien DeJesus and Jason Riley first crossed paths nearly 20 years ago, when experiential marketing was just becoming a ‘thing’. From the start there was magic, with DeJesus and Riley pioneering ever more outrageous guerrilla marketing stunts. Over the course of the next decade, and across three different companies, DeJesus and Riley continued to elevate their game, bringing spectacular events to life for, among others, Red Bull, Shell USA, eBay, Starbucks, VH1, National Geographic, HBO, Schick, and Purina, to name just a few. Ultimately, they decided to forge their own path, forming Black Ops Productions in 2015.

Damien DeJesus and Jason Riley first crossed paths nearly twenty years ago, when experiential marketing was just becoming a ‘thing’. From the start there was magic, and a symbiotic partnership was born. Through the years, and several stops along the way, there were spectacular triumphs and, if we’re being honest, more than a few ‘teachable moments’. We had seemingly seen and done it all, and when faced with a fork in the road in 2015 the obvious choice was to form Black Ops Productions.

Our name stems from the fact that we often operate in that shadows so that the spotlight shines brightest on our clients. At the end of the day our mission, after all, is to make them look awesome. But we can only do that if we allow that maverick spirit from the early days to push us to new heights. This fearlessness, tenacity and hunger for continuous growth are what allow us to deliver new, exciting and stellar results for our clients.
