John Deere utilized a title sponsorship of Taste of Chicago to celebrate the opening of their new tech center in Chicago’s Fulton Market. Black Ops was tapped by agency partner EP+Co to tell the Deere story to TOC attendees through an immersive collection of applied science moments.
Encompassing more than 20,000 sqf in the heart of Chicago’s Grant Park, the experience included:
The world’s largest pizza cutter, attached to a John Deere excavator and slicing a giant deep dish (because, of course).
A one-of-a-kind 360° theater experience housed in a custom built ‘silo’ and projected on a concave screen comprised of 200+ hi-def LED tiles.
Interactive historical site tours via a large-scale, foam-sculpted map of the State of Illinois – the map included QR Code links that launched dynamic Augmented Reality experiences.
